Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Amet Hakeen Media (SSM 202603007216 (003810621-K)), a business registered in Malaysia ("we", "us"), for the use of TerokaData (the website app.terokadata.com, its API and future mobile apps). By using TerokaData you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

TerokaData helps affiliates, creators and sellers understand their own sales and content: dashboards from exports you upload, transcripts of your own videos, AI writing and analysis tools, examples of successful content, and connections you authorise through official platform APIs. TerokaData is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by TikTok, Shopee, Meta or any other platform.

2. Accounts and early access

• During early access, accounts are opened by invitation. You must give accurate details and be at least 18 years old.
• You are responsible for your account, your password and everything done in your workspaces. Tell us at once at hello@terokadata.com if you think your account was used without permission.
• Workspace owners decide who joins their workspace and what data is uploaded to it.

3. Your data and content

• You keep all rights to the files, videos, text and data you upload or connect ("your content").
• You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide the service to you, including the AI features you choose to use (see the Privacy Policy).
• You confirm you have the right to upload and process your content: for example, your own TikTok or Shopee exports and your own videos. Do not upload other people's personal data or content you are not allowed to use.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• scrape, download or copy other people's content or data through TerokaData, or use it to break any platform's terms;
• use TerokaData for anything illegal, misleading or harmful, including false product claims or spam;
• try to access other workspaces, break our security, overload the service or resell access without our written permission;
• share your account with people outside your workspace.

5. AI tools

AI writing and analysis can be wrong or incomplete. The AI only knows what you give it. Check every fact, price and claim before you publish, and make sure your posts follow the rules of the platform you post on and Malaysian law. You are responsible for what you publish.

6. Successful examples and case studies

Our examples include our own content and case studies of public posts by other creators, shown for learning, with credit and a link to the original. Videos play through the platform's own player; we do not download them. Do not copy other creators' work. If you are a creator and want your content removed from a case study, email hello@terokadata.com and we will remove it promptly.

7. Plans, payment and renewal

• Plans and prices are shown on our website and in the app. Prices are in Malaysian ringgit (RM).
• During early access, paid plans are paid by bank transfer. A plan starts when we confirm your payment and lasts for the period you paid for (one month or one year).
• Plans do not renew automatically. We email you before your plan ends; if you do not renew, your workspace returns to the Free plan and your data is kept.
• Usage limits (for example AI writes and transcript minutes) reset every calendar month and do not carry over.
• We may change prices or plan limits for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects a plan you have paid for.

8. Refunds

• If TerokaData does not work for you because of a technical problem on our side that we cannot fix, email us within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
• Otherwise payments are not refundable, and we do not refund unused parts of a month or year.
• If we end the service or a feature you paid for, we will refund the unused part of your current period.

9. Third-party services

Some features depend on third parties, such as TikTok's official APIs, AI providers you choose and our hosting providers. They may change or stop their services, which can affect TerokaData. Fees you pay to them (for example your own AI account) are separate from our prices.

10. Suspension and closing accounts

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users at risk or has unpaid fees. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

11. Disclaimers and liability

• TerokaData is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will increase your sales.
• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Malaysian consumer law that cannot be excluded.

12. Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the service. If you keep using TerokaData after a change, the new terms apply.
